二、quiz 名词。意思是“测验、比赛”。紧张用在美国英语中非正规的小测验。例如：
The history quiz consisted of ten questions.历史小测验由十个问题构成。
The child is trying to answer a quiz in the newspaper.这孩子想应答报纸上的小测试。
He took part in a television quiz and won several prizes.他参加了电视大奖赛，并得到了几个奖项。
三、test 名词。意思是“测验、测试、实验、考验”。指除正规考试外，对学生所学知识的测验。例如：
We have a test at the end of each month and an examination once a year. 我们每个月尾进行一次测验，每年进行一次考试。
The teacher gives a test every Friday. 老师每周五进行测验。
The tests show that the machine is safe and can cure people. 实验解释机器是安全的而且能给人治病。
