I am 8 years old.
我今年8岁了。
Today, I’m going to share a story with you.
本日，我要和你们分享一个故事。
It’s about A frog in the well.
它讲的是井里的一只田鸡。

呱、呱
I’m a frog. I live in a well.
我是一只田鸡。我住在一个井里。
I want to tell you a story about mine.
我想给你讲一个关于我自己的故事。
In the past, I never went out of the well.
在过去，我从来没有出过井。
But I lived a happy life under the well.
但我在井下过着幸福的生活。
One day, a bird came to the well and saw me.
一天，一只鸟来到井边，瞥见了我。
I asked: “Where are you from?”
我问它：“你是从哪里来的？”
Then the bird said:“I come from far away.
然后鸟说：“我从远方来。
And I have flown more than one hundred li.
我已经飞了一百多里。
Now I am so tired and thirsty.”
现在我又累又渴了。”
“Really? Are you kidding me?
“真的吗？你在开玩笑吗？
The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well.
天空只有井的口那么大。
How can you fly over one hundred li?”
你怎么能飞一百多里？”
I was very surprised and ask.
我很惊异地问道。
The bird heard that and laughed loudly:
鸟听到了，大声笑了起来：
“Exactly! The sky is endless.
“没错！
天空无穷无尽。
But you always stay in the well,
但你总是呆在井里，
so you don’t know how big the sky is.”
以是你不知道天空有多大。”
However I still didn’t believe in the bird.
但是我仍旧不相信这只鸟。
The bird sad:“Believe it or not,
那只鸟说：“信不信由你，
but you can jump out of the well.
但你可以从井里跳出来。
You have a look by yourself!”
你可以自己去看看吧！
”
In the end, I jumped out of the well.
末了，我从井里跳了出来。
I was really stunned by the size of the sky!
我真的被天空的大小惊呆了！
Amazing! I was very ashamed.
令人惊奇！
我非常羞愧。
Silly me! I’m just a frog under the well .
我真傻！
我只是井下的一只田鸡。
At last, I understand the truth.
末了，我明白了原形。
When seeing and thinking things,
当我们看到和思考一些事情时，
we should stand higher and see further.
我们该当站得更高，看得更远。
